During the fall of 2010,the Capital District YMCA contracted with HMA Contracting to perform large parking lot paving projects at four of our YMCA branch locations. From the very beginning, HMA was responsive to the special needs that were required to perform these projects while keeping disruption at our branch locations to a minimum. All work performed during this $370,000.00 contract, without exception, met or exceeded specifications set forth and agreed upon per the contract. This project started on the time and proceed throughout completion with no unnecessary delays or interruptions. HMA not only came in well under the set contingency budget ,they also produced finished parking lots that far exceed the quality of those that were originally constructed. HMA staff at each site was professional, helpful and attentive to any needs of CDYMCA staff during this project. I would, without hesitation recommend HMA Contracting and I am sure that the opportunity will present itself to work together on future projects.

Building in the Adirondack Park, and especially on Lake George, is a complicated process that involves multiple levels of regulatory approvals and constant oversight from a variety of interested parties. As a result of HMA’s attention to detail and coordination with other contractors involved in the process, the entire project proceeded smoothly and without issue, and my family was able to move into our new home in time to enjoy a wonderful summer on the Lake. It is uncommon to find a company that takes such pride in its work and provides such professional and courteous service.
